Selecting Model Simulations

All the statistically downscaled model simulations from three global climate models (GCMs) forced by RCP4.5 and dynamically downscaled model simulations from six GCMs forced by RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 obtained in Step 4 were used in this case study.

This selection allows the analyses to consider range of uncertainties related with the RCPs, the GCMs and the downscaling techniques. This decision was based on an expert judgment provided in previous work, data availability and the resources to conduct the analyses.
